Violence will never be stopped. Look back at human history. Violence is our crutch in life, it's a MUST. The truth is ugly, but there has never been nor will there be an era in human history where violence can be forgotten.
And to blame the media and video games is more humorous. Yes, violence is more rampant on tv nowadays. Why? Because people lust for it. Why else would millions of people watch 24?
Video games? Don't get me started. Video games are the least harmful instruments created by man in the recent decades. If anything, video games help purge violent tendencies by allowing you to fulfill them in an imaginary but interactive fashion. I feel a lot better on a bad day when I come home and shoot people up on XBOX 360. To some it may be excessive, both those are the ones who never really tried the video games of today.
If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for any violent movie you saw and liked. Blame your family, friends, neighbors and everyone else who's done the same. A massive problem that affects many starts off by being created by one.
Well love it or hate it, Coney Island is a slice of nostalgia. All it does is make you reminisce over the good times. I guarantee you when you go next time, you'll be in a MUCH BETTER mood.
